WTO is a major partner in the activities of CWTS UGM. Through the WTO Chair Program (WCP), which began in 2010, cooperation implemented in three programs, 1) Curriculum development and teaching, 2) research and 3) events of network and cooperation development. As a research institute that focuses on the study of international trade, CWTS UGM also involves cooperating with the government including the Ministry of Commerce, Chamber of Commerce, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as the local governments of Yogyakarta. In improving network with local and national entrepreneur, CWTS is actively trying to establish communication with SMEs and other business networks.
