Dr. Maharani Hapsari is the Executive Secretary of Center for World Trade Studies, Universitas Gadjah Mada, and Co-Chair of UGM-WTO Chair Programme. She is an active lecturer at the Department of International Relations, Faculty of Social and Political Science, Universitas Gadjah Mada. She has 15 years of experience in academic teaching, research, consulting, and community service in the areas of local development, trade, environment, disaster and resilience, ecology and religion, as well as community-based environmental resource governance.
